I have never tried riding a BMW before. So thrilled to test ride this German made BMW 1200 GS around the country specifically for GMA News TV's new show, "The Motorcycle Diaries", which will soon air its pilot episode this coming July.The 1200 GS dual purpose motorcycle is BMW's powerbike that can roll on city streets and off-road terrains. It gained notoriety when it was used by actor Ewan Mc Gregor and companion rider Charley Boorman in 2007, traveling from John O' Groats in Scotland to Cape Agulhas in South Africa, as documented in the book and the television series "Long Way Down."
